This year marks the 10th anniversary of the MidPoint Music Festival, a great place to hear rising national acts, boasting many performers from last year that went on to receive recognition on the lists for Best Album or Best New Artist in major music publications such as Spin, Fader, Pitchfork, NME, Filter and Rolling Stone. The success of MPMF has led to an expanded annual reach to include the MidPoint Indie Summer Series a free Friday night series held on June 3-Sept 2 and featuring national, regional and local performers.
