Bio:
I moved to Cincinnati almost 5 years ago, right after college.  I had grown up in the suburbs of Chicago and thought it was a great place to live.  I had seen my brother graduate from college and move to the city, and many of my friends had moved there is well.  They loved Chicago and thought it was great, and I loved visiting them.  When I had the choice to move there, or somewhere else, I chose to move someplace else and came to Cincinnati.  Many of my friends were shocked, "Where is Cincinnati?", "WKRP...nice...", "Why would you want to move?".  The reality was that I knew what it was going to be like in Chicago and wanted to have a change.  Coming to Cincinnati, I definitely got that.

Education:
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign - BS Chemical Engineering
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign/National University of Singapore - MS Chemical Engineering

At Work
What do I like about P&G?  The people...simple enough.  They are great, amazing, smart people who could all run their own companies if they wanted to.  Just great people who make coming to work everyday not seem like a job.

Lifestyle
Adjusting to Cincinnati was pretty easy.  I moved into an apartment close to downtown in East Walnut Hills and found friends that liked to eat out and do fun things.  It was a good first year.  However, my real love for Cincinnati came when I moved into my house.  I live in Mt. Auburn in an historic neighborhood called Prospect Hill.  It is the best neighborhood I have ever lived in.  It is right downtown, so you can utilize all downtown has to offer, and has the nicest neighbors in the world.  Through living there, I've been able to become very involved in downtown and making a difference there.  My passion for making downtown Cincinnati better, and the fun I have in that process, is now a cornerstone of my life.

Cincinnati is not like other cities where everything is laid out for you...you gotta search things out, ask questions and get involved!

Favorite thing to do in Cincinnati

My favorite thing in the world is as follows:  Waking up on a Saturday morning, around 9 or 10 am.  Heading out to Findlay Market and buying all of my food from local farmers, bakers, and butchers.  Heading over to Coffee Emporium for a morning cup of coffee and eating a home made cinnamon roll from the lady who sells them for $1 at Findlay.  Then, heading over to Tony Sparta's for the great Italian Deli selection he has.  Finally, heading to Shadeau Breads and picking through what they have left (‘cause of course I'm there late and they are sold out).  By that time, I'll head home and have lunch sitting on my deck overlooking the city.  It is just a great way to spend a Saturday morning.
